Will was shaking violently as he jumped down from the roof of the Phantomhive manor. He stumbled slightly as he landed, feeling deeply
sickened. It kissed him...that thing TOUCHED him. What hurt the most was that
the red reaper kissed him back...so lovingly. The Shinigami had to leave; if
he stayed, he knew he would pass out...or kill Sebastian...that one sounded very, very inviting...

The next day, the other Shinigami were in the lobby, another slow day
ahead of them. Ever since Grell left, things seemed to have slowed to a crawl. It seemed as if he was what made their day go by faster, even if they did pick on him. He would just laugh crazily or seductively and keep going. Ron was the
only thing keeping the place even mildly upbeat, and Undertaker when he came in.

William definitely was not helping that. He paced his office rapidly, shaking. In a way he wished he had not followed them...but now he knew that that beast had feelings for Grell. It was eating away at him, how the red head blushed so at the demon's very presence. In all honesty, it had always bothered him.

A knock at the door made him jump slightly. He forced himself to breathe,
then forced out a calm "Come in". Eric walked in this time, a slightly sour
look on his face. "I see you came back sooner than expected...did you give up that easily, William?" Will glared slightly at the taller death god.

"Excuse me..but I have not given up. I've come back to try and formulate
my plan further..." Eric scoffed slightly, kicking the door closed behind him.
"I know you William...you'll try every way possible to get out of showing
any feeling to anyone. Since you won't listen to reason or even your elder...then maybe I can talk to you."

William pushed his glasses up, scoffing slightly. "I don't have time for this...I-" Before he could finish, he was grabbed up by the shirt and pinned to the wall. Eric was inches from his face, his bright green eyes flashing angrily. "Doesn't feel very good, does it?"

"Maybe now you'll understand why the red head left.." He pulled out his
death scythe, holding it up to Will's throat. "Listen up...we NEED that reaper.
Believe it or not, he helped more than you think he did. Even if he is afraid
of you, coax him out, be gentle."

Will managed to shake himself out of Eric's grip, though it took a bit
to do so. Eric was one of the strongest in the society, after all. William
looked at Eric angrily, though he knew he was right. The only way to get Grell
back was to give him what he had wanted: Will's attention. Grell had wanted his
love from day one and Will did like him...but he hated showing emotion.

He fell into his work from a young age, and stuck with the rules almost
ritualistically. Grell was so spazztic, loving, and carefree. It was like negative and positive...opposites in every way. Will sighed, straightening his
shirt and jacket. "You are right...I'll have to draw him back in...and be gentle.."

Eric sighed, pulling Will forcibly by the arm into the hallway. He then pointed at Alan sitting at his desk, typing away. "Do you see him? He's the most important thing to me...and I'm gonna lose him soon. Don't take what you
have for granted..."

Will was shocked as Eric went back into the lobby with Alan and Ron, Alan smiling at him as he came in. Alan would be gone soon, for he had the Thousand thorns of death, a fatal disease that only a reaper can get. The way he acted though...you would never be able to tell he was slowly dying. William knew that Eric was right; he had taken his partner for granted, and then chased him away. Then Will began thinking...he needed their help more than he thought.

He darted into the lobby, slightly stunning them all. "All three of you,
pack what you need. I'm taking you to the human world to help me take Grell back." Ron jumped off the desk for joy, practically dancing as he raced to grab
everything. Alan calmly began packing his things, Eric helping him if he needed it.

After they all had everything, Will contacted the other reapers to tell to go on stand by until further notice. As they went out, Alan and Ron chatting and Eric walking quietly, Will thought through everything. He had to show Grell
he cared...he did care. But he was so emotionally detached from everything but
work. Noticing that they were entering the human world, his whole body clenched as he fought not to be sick.
Chapter 10. Bottling up your emotions isn't good William! Neither is stalking people. XD
